Crochet Fast and Simple Baby Blanket has a very easy pattern also the border is only one row repeat. You can make it easily and get a professional result.
If you want,you can make your border with a different colour. This stitch is not a yarn eater. If you want to make a baby blanket, you should make your chains minimum 120cm.
Materials
454 gr-932 mt-1020 yards
6 mm hook
Stitches used
Chain: ch
Single crochet:sc
Half double crochet:hdc
Double crochet:dc
Stitch: st
Notes
When you see *( )** it means you repeat the instructions in between *( )** Where you see the word turn it means to turn your work clockwise and work back down the row.
Pattern
Start with a slipknot. Multiples of 3+1.
Row1: Yarn over and insert into the 2nd st and make a hdc+yarn over and make one more hdc in the same st+*(skip 1st+1sc in the next st+2hdc in 1st)** at the end of the row; the last st is a sc.
Row2: Ch1 and turn.2hdc in the first st+*(skip 1st+1sc into the next st+2hdc in 1st)**At the end of the row,the last st is a sc.
Repeat Row2 to desired length.
BORDER
Row 1:
1st-3rd side: Ch2 and insert the corner st and make a dc in every each sp.
2nd-4th side: Make a dc in every each st.
On the corner; Make (2dc+ch2+2dc) in the corner st.
Row 2: *(Ch2+1sc of 2st)**
On the corner; Make 2sc in the 2dc of previous row+ (sc+ch2+sc)in the ch2 sp+2sc in the 2dc of previous row.
