How To Crochet An Easy Stitch With Written Pattern

I’m here with another perfect stitch. It has a tulip look! You can use the stitch for different projects like shawls, blankets, baby dresses, etc. anywhere you like. It may be a little bit tricky but it’s soo easy. Just follow the pattern. I hope you enjoy! 🙂



MATERIALS

YarnArt Jeans Bamboo (category 2)

3.5 mm Crochet Hook



STITCHES & ABBREVIATIONS

ch: Chain

st(s): Stitch(es)

sp: Space

sk: Skip Stitch(es)

hdc: Half Double Crochet

dc: Double Crochet

fpdc: Front Post Double Crochet



puff stitch: [yarn over, insert hook in designated stitch, yarn over and pull through a loop]*5 times.(11 loops on the hook), yarn over and pull through 10 loops on the hook(2 loops on the hook), yarn over and pull through all 2 loops on the hook.



NOTES:

*US crochet terms are used in this pattern.

*Pattern requires multiples of 6, and plus 1 for once.

Foundation ch: ch your desired length in any multiple of 6, then plus 1.

Row 1: dc in 4th ch from the hook(ch3 does count as a dc), dc in each ch until end, turn.

Row 2: ch 1(does not count as a hdc,do not skip the very 1st st), hdc in next 3 sts, ch 3, sk 5, *(dc, ch2, dc) in next st, ch3, sk 5, **, repeat from * to ** until 3 sts left, hdc in last 3 sts, turn.

Row 3: ch 1, hdc in next 3 sts, ch 1, * [5fpdc around next dc]*2 times, ch 1**, repeat from * to ** until 3 sts left, hdc in last 3 sts, turn.

Row 4: ch 1, hdc in next 3 sts, (dc, ch1, dc) in ch1 sp, *ch 2, puff st in ch2 sp, ch2, (dc, ch1, dc) in ch1 sp**, repeat from * to ** until 3 sts left, hdc in last 3 sts, turn.

Row 5: ch 1, hdc in next 3 sts, [5fpdc around next dc]*2 times, *ch 1, [5fpdc around next dc]*2 times**, repeat from * to ** until 3 sts left, hdc in last 3 sts, turn.

Row 6: ch 1, hdc in next 3 sts, puff st in next ch1 sp(from row4), *ch 2, (dc, ch2, dc) in next ch1 sp(from row5), ch 2, puff st in next ch1 sp(from row4)**, repeat from * to ** until 3 sts left, hdc in last 3 sts, turn.

**Repeat Rows 3-6 until desired length. End with Row 3.

Last Row: ch 3(counts as a dc, skip the very 1st st), dc in next 2 sts, work 2dc in each ch2 sp, 3dc in each V-st(dc,ch2,dc) sp, 1dc in each puff st until 3 sts left, dc in last 3 sts.

**Your 1st and last row must have the same number of stitches!
