*Pattern requires multiple of 3. You can make the blanket as big as you want.

with 6 mm hook and yellow color,

ch 90. (67 cm)

Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from the hook, *(sc, hdc, dc) in next ch, sk 2**, repeat from * to ** until end, dc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: ch 1, sc in 1st st, *(sc, hdc, dc) in next st, sk 2**, repeat from * to ** until end, dc in last st, turn.

**Repeat Row 2 until the desired length is reached. Just make sure that the number of rows is an even number.

Border

change hook to 5.5 mm,

Rnd 1: ch 3, dc in each st until 1 st left on the row, (dc, ch3, dc) in last (corner) st, work 2 dc around each dc st, and 1 dc in each sc st all the way down, on the corner work (dc, ch3, dc). For the bottom, work 1 dc in each ch until last ch, (dc, ch3, dc) in last ch. Work 1 dc in each sc st, and 2 dc around each dc st until beginning st, (dc, ch3) in 1st st, ch 1 and join with a hdc in 3rd ch.

Rnd 2: ch3, (take the grey color and carry it) dc in same sp, dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st(complete 2nd dc with grey and just leave the yellow). Now, we will make the flower. To create the flower, we will work around the last 2 dc. (ch2, dc, ch2, sl st, ch2, dc, ch2, sl st) around last dc. Turn the blanket clockwise and continue to work around 1st dc of last 2 dc. (ch2, dc, ch2, sl st, ch2, dc, ch2, sl st) around 1st dc. (ch2, dc, ch2, sl st) between last 2 dc sts worked with yellow. Leave the grey and grab the yellow and make a ch. dc in next 4 sts (don’t forget to carry the color grey), 2 dc in next st. Repeat the flower steps, and then dc in next 4 sts until the corner. (it doesn’t matter how many sts left before the corner) At the corner, work (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc). Continue to work around the blanket until beginning corner. 2 dc, ch1, join with a hdc into 3rd ch.

**You can cut off the color grey and secure it.

Rnd 3: ch 3, dc in same sp, *dc in next 5 sts, sk the 2nd dc st of the flower**, repeat from * to ** until next corner, (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc) at the corner. Continue to work around the blanket by working 5 dc between each flower until the beginning corner. 2 dc, ch1, join with a hdc into 3rd ch.

Rnd 4: ch 1, sc in same sp, sc in each st until next corner. Work 4 sc into corner sp. Continue to work around by putting 1 sc in each st and 4 sc in corners until end. For the last corner sp, work 1 sc and cut off the yarn leaving a bit long tail. Take the yarn needle, insert needle into 1st st and then back loop of the last st. Hide the tail. (or you can finish the round just by slip stitching into the 1st st).

Rnd 5: with color grey, insert into one of the any corner sts, grab the yarn and work only back loop sl st around the blanket. Cut off the yarn leaving a bit long tail. Take the yarn needle, insert needle under the 1st st and then back loop of the last st. Hide the tail.
