Crochet World’s Easiest Blanket / Free Pattern


When you first learn how to crochet a blanket, you want to make one that is quick and easy. That one is just for you. You don’t have to wait for weeks to see the results of your efforts. With a larger size hook and easy stitch you can make it within a few days.

It’s a simple but cute blanket to crochet for any baby-boy or girl.It’s also a super warm and squishy blanket. I hope you like it.



Materials

Yarn size 4. (1 ball 140 mt)

7mm hook for blanket

6.5mm for the border

Tapestry needle

Stitches used

Chain: ch

Sİngle crochet:sc

Double crochet:dc

Stitch: st

Space: sp




Notes

When you see *( )** it means you repeat the instructions in between *( )** Where you see the word ​turn​ it means to turn your work clockwise and work back down the row.

Row 1:  Ch81( for a newborn size) Skip 1 st+ *(1sc+1dc)** At the end of the row1 ,finish with a dc.

Row 2:Ch1,turn. *(make a dc in the sc st of previous row+make a sc in the dc st of previous row)**

Row 3:Ch1,turn. *(make a sc in the dc st of previous row+make a dc in the sc st of previous row)**



Repeat row 2 and 3 until your blanket reach the size you want.

Border

Row 1:

1st-3rd side: make a sc in every st .

2nd,4th side: *(make a sc in the dc sp of previous row+make a sc in the sc sp of previous row)**

On the corner; make 3 sc




Row 2: Sl st to the corner+ch1+make an sc in the same st+ 2 sl st+*(make 5 dc in the 3th st+skip 2st+make a sc+skip 2st)**

On the corner; make 7 dc in the middle st of the corner.
