**Make your slip stitches loosely.

**Make your row turns always in the same direction.

make 30 cm long ch base. in this case it’s 36 ch. (if you have thinner yarn, your chains will be more than 36 when you reach 30 cm)

ROW 1:  ch 1, work in back bumps, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 27 sts, sl st in next 8 sts, turn. <36>

ROW 2: ch 1, blo sl st in next 8 sts, blo sc in next 28 sts, turn. <36>

ROW 3: ch 1, blo sc in next 28 sts, sl st in next 8 sts, turn. <36>

**Repeat rows 2&3 until you have 52 rows in total. (37cm, 14.5inc)

**If you want to make it bigger or smaller, just make sure you end up with an even number of rows. Remember that also, since it’s stretchy, you don’t have to make too many rows.

When you finish, fold it in half so that foundation and last row are on top of on another. Drop the working loop and insert hook to the last st of foundation row and pull through the working loop in it, join them together and ch 1. Working through the both loops of foundation row and back loop of the last row, seam the two rows together by slip stitching next 10 sts. Turn your work inside out. Grab the working loop through the coming st of last row, ch 1. From now on, make your sl sts through the both loops of the both ends. Continue across. Leave a bit long tail and fasten off. Close the top of the hat.
