Are you ready to crochet and elegant blanket? And it’s also one of the easiest blankets of the world.
I used Alpine stitch for the blanket. It’s a nice stitch which looks good in any project. It looks very stylish and elegant. You can check our website and find the baby cardigan too with this stitch.
Yarn: 100 gr – 200 mt-219 yards
Blanket 5.5mm hook
Border 5mm hook
Front post double crochet:fpdc
Notes: When you see *( )** it means you repeat the instructions in between *( )** Where you see the word turn it means to turn your work clockwise and work back down the row.
Make a slipknot. Make your chains which size you want. Your chains must be an odd number.
Row 1: Skip 3st and insert into the 4th st and make a dc+ a dc in every each st.
Row2: Ch1 and turn. Make a sc into the 1st st+a sc into the every each st.
Row3: Ch1 and turn. Make a dc in the 1st st+*(make a fpdc in the dc of 1st row.+make a dc into the next st (row 3) )**make a dc in the last stitch.
Row4: Ch1 and turn. Make a sc in the 1st st+a sc into the every each st.
Row5: Ch1 and turn. Make a dc into the first 2 st *( Make a fpdc on the dc of the previous row(row3)+make a dc into the next st (row 5))** Make one dc into the last 2 st
Row6: Ch1 and turn. Make a sc in the 1st st+a sc into the every each st.
Repeat Row 3-4-5-6 until the size you want to reach.
1st-3rd side: Ch4+*(skip 1st+1hdc+Ch1)**
2nd-4th side: *(ch1+ skip dc rows+ make a hdc into the sc row’s st)**
Corner: (hdc+ch1+hdc+ch2+hdc+ch1+hdc) into the corner stitches
Round2: Ch3+*(Make a dc in the sp+make a dc in the st)**
Corner: (dc+ch2+dc) into the ch2 sp of previous round.
Round3: Ch3+and make a dc in every each st.
Corner: (dc+ch2+dc) into the ch2 sp.
Repeat Row3,2 more times.When you come to the Row4’s corner,you should make (2dc +ch2+2dc)
Round6: Ch1 and make a sc in the same st+*(skip 2 st+make 3 dc in the 3rd st+ch2 and insert your hook from the last st loop and the post’s loop then make a sl st. So you made a picot.+3dc in the same st+skip 2st+ insert the 3rd st and make a sc)**
Corner: 4dc+make a picot+4dc.
